Buses & Polling Units Reportedly Burnt, Corps Members Injured In Imo State
Deputy Director- General of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun 2015 Campaign Organisation (SIACO), Bisi Adegbuyi on Sunday said the result of Saturday’s polls in the polling units at the Presidential Villa, Abuja has shown that those working for President Goodluck Jonathan are frustrated with his administration and are eager for him to leave by May 2015.

Adegbuyi, who described the election as peaceful and credible also urged President Jonathan to be magnanimous enough to congratulate the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari when the official result is announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)

“ As for the result released in the Presidential Villa, Abuja that gave the APC a clear lead, I will say that that is democracy in action. It is a clear message to President Jonathan that Nigerians are really desirous of change. It also shows that people working with him in the villa don’t want him to continue beyond May 2015”.

“He should magnanimous enough to congratulate General Muhammadu Buhari when the official result is out. History will be kind to him and Nigerians will be kind to him. He should reject the evil advice of some hawks who will want him to do everything, no matter how evil to hang on to power at all cost”.
We all know that it is very difficult and it has never happened before for opposition party to win a free and fair election in this country especially in the presidential election. But it will be on record that it happened under President Jonathan”.

Also speaking on the hitches experienced in the use of the card readers, Adegbuyi said contrary to impressions being created by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the card readers did not fail.
“The card reader did not fail. The fact is that nobody was disenfranchised at the end of the day. The card has performed its function. It will be a disservice to the efforts of INEC to say because the fingerprinting process did not work, the card reader has failed”.

“On my part, the card reader did not recognise my fingerprint, yet I voted. It is mischievous for PDP to say they are justified. Justified for what? I listened to Yinka Odumakin saying the election is a sham. That is preposterous” he said.
