Why Dr Sid returned to University of Ibadan

On Thursday, April 23, 2015, Mavin act, Dr Sid delivered a Matriculation lecture at his alma mater, the University of Ibadan. The ‘Surulere’ singer is believed to be the first alumnus to be accorded that honour.

Dr Sid, a Dental Surgery graduate of the premier university, was a special guest speaker at the 2015 annual Matriculation lecture in the prestigious ivory tower and he shared photos from the lecture, which he captioned with the words:

 ‘Being honoured by your peers is one thing, being honoured by your teachers is on a whole different level.’
