appointed Senator Isa Galadu as Chief of Staff and also Mr. Yusuph
Olaniyonu as Special Adviser on Media.
“I have appointed Senator Isa Galadu as my Chief of Staff and also Mr. Yusuph Olaniyonu as Special Adviser on Media. Please note the appointments take effect immediately,” he posted on Facebook.
Yusuph Olaniyonu was a former Commissioner for Information and Strategy for Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state while Galadu represented Kebbi North Senatorial District in the 7th National Assembly.
Earlier in the day, Saraki disclosed that arrangements have been concluded for the setting up of an ad- hoc Committee that would reappraise the structure of the National Assembly budget.
In his address of welcome at the resumed plenary by the senators from the two week break, Senate President Saraki who urged all senators to run a more transparent National Assembly to aviod what he termed, attendant misinformation the stories could bring, however stressed that the adhoc Committee to look at the structure of the National Assembky would ensure that the Senate becomes more open as well as put in place measures that the budget was in line with economic realities.
