My boyfriend threatens to kill himself if I quit our relationship

I am in a relationship that is not making me happy. My boyfriend is always finding faults in everything I do. If he is not fault finding, he would be quarreling with me over trivial issues.

It is always one quarrel after the other. I am no longer enjoying the relationship with him. Whenever I want to quit, he would threaten to kill himself and kill me. I don’t know what to do, I am afraid he could make do his threat. Please, help me. How do I leave him?

You did not state what normally trigger your quarrel or what makes your boyfriend complain always. I think the first thing you should do is try and study what exactly is the thing that gets him angry, then if you are still interested in the relationship, you guide against it.

You also must let him know how you feel about his behaviour. If you have not done so before, please, do so now so that he also would understand your feelings and respect it. There is no relationship that is quarrel-free, it only becomes unhealthy if you quarrel all the time

If you are sure you don’t want the relationship again, do not let him bully you with his threat, you should let people close to you know the trend of things.

Tell them why you want to opt out of the relationship and let them know what he has threatened to do. It is well.
