Our skin consist of three layers: Epidermis (the external layer), Dermis (the center layer) and Subcutaneous or Hypodermic (the most deepest layer).
Stretch marks structure in the center layer of the skin when the connective tissue is “extended” past the power of its adaptability as a consequence of quick development or compression of our skin ,development generally happen because of sudden weight increase or pregnancy.

Stretch marks show up on the body for various reasons and we are not going to be going into that today but rather we are just going to look at how you can make utilization of foods to get rid of them from your body.

1. Potatoes blur them away
Potatoes contain a few vitamins and minerals in their juice that help restore skin cells. Cut a bit of potato and rub the juice that turns out on the influenced part. This will make the stretch marks less obvious after some time while applying the potatoes, make sure that the white starchy part rubs off the skin too.
Note: Allow the potato juice to dry for a while before washing it off with some tepid water.

The juice from lemon is normally acidic, this serves to mend and lessen stretch marks, skin break out, and different scars that may be available on the skin.  NOTE: Slice a lemon fruit and rub the fresh lemon juice onto the stretch marks ,It is better to use fresh juice not lemon keep for use at a later date. Now let the lemon juice to soak into your skin for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

3. Egg Whites
Apart from eating eggs because of the protein content, you can also apply them on the affected area on the skin. Whip the whites of two eggs gently with a fork. To use eggs to remove stretch marks, simply clean the affected skin area with water and then apply a thick layer of egg whites with a makeup brush or something that can do a similar job.

After applying the egg white, allow it to dry completely and then rinse the area with cold water. You can now apply some olive oil on that part of the skin to keep it moisturized. Consistent use will give you result. People often see obvious results within two weeks of applying egg whites.
Women who have had stretch marks after pregnancy have also recommended massaging cocoa butter or shea butter into your skin twice a day. This has been reported to help moisturize dry skin and help stretch marks to fade away. Personally, many have used shea butter in the past to remove black scars that arose from pimples .

4 . Water Helps Prevent Stretch Marks
Any day, any time, water should be preferred as the choice drinks over other type of drinks such as coffee, soda, carbonated beverage drinks, etc. This is because, they (coffee, soda, etc.) could cause skin dehydration leaving your skin prone to stretch marks development. Water however, helps to hydrate the skin and keep it healthy. Drink a substantial amount of water instead of soft drinks and soda.
