Beasts of No Nation is a 2015 American war drama film directed, written and filmed by Cary Fukunaga, based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Uzodinma Iweala.[2] The film stars Idris Elba, Ama K. Abebrese, Grace Nortey, David Dontoh and Opeyemi Fagbohungbe.


 It was screened in the main competition section of the 72nd Venice International Film Festival,[3][4] and it has been selected to be shown in the Special Presentations section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.[5] The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix globally on October 16, 2015 and the same day, the film will be released in a limited release by Bleecker Street.[6]
