Android 6.0 will arrive to a number of its Nexus devices next week, and the factory images should be made available at the same time.
But which other devices will get the Android Marshmallow update, and when? Check out our list of devices, from Samsung, Sony, LG, Motorola, Google and more, to see which are in line for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Google Nexus Android Marshmallow update:

Google has revealed that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will delivered OTA to the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9, and Nexus Player on the week beginning Monday, October 5. As we mentioned yesterday, the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2012) and Nexus 10 are not scheduled to receive this update.

Google's newly announced Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P devices will launch with Android 6.0 pre-installed in October.

HTC Android Marshmallow update:

Though the Android 6.0 update is scheduled to rollout at the end of 2015 for the HTC One M9 and HTC One M8, the fine print notes that not all carriers will be able to deliver it.

HTC also confirmed that the HTC One M7 would not receive Marshmallow because it is now more than two years old and outside of the update window.
One M9, One M8, One M9+, One E9+, One E9, One ME, One E8, E8 EYE, Butterfly 3, Desire 826, Desire 820 and 816.

Samsung Android Marshmallow update:

Samsung has not yet commented on its update schedule, but that hasn't stopped some websites from claiming they have an 'official' list of Samsung devices due to be updated to Android Marshmallow by the end of the year. YouMobile recently added the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ to its list, and while we don't put much stock in the information, most of the devices listed are pretty safe bets. Check out the list below:

Galaxy S6
Galaxy S6 Edge
Galaxy Note 4
Galaxy Note Edge
Galaxy Note 5
Galaxy S6 Edge+
Galaxy S6 Duos
Galaxy Note 4 Duos
Galaxy Alpha
Galaxy Tab A
The Samsung flagships released this year will almost certainly get Android Marshmallow, either before the end of the year or in early 2016.

LG Android Marshmallow update:

Although there is no official word on the LG Android Marshmallow update, the LG G4 and the LG G3 will certainly receive Android Marshmallow. We've sent LG a request for comment regarding its update plans.

On a side note, a Greek website uncovered a comment on LG's Greek Facebook page stating there are no plans for Android 5.1 for the G3, which possibly indicates that the device will jump straight to Android Marshmallow instead.

Sony Android Marshmallow update:

Sony has remained silent about its update schedule, but the Xperia Z4, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 tablet will certainly receive the update to Android Marshmallow. Considering the Android M preview was already made available for select Xperia devices, we' all assume the Sony Android Marshmallow update is coming along nicely too.

Huawei Android Marshmallow update:

Huawei might see Android Marshmallow as something sinister – that's because it must first roll out Android Lollipop to its latest smartphones. Only after that can we consider the Huawei Android Marshmallow update as something to look forward to. Huawei has said that the P8 will be the first device to get the Android M update, but has not given a date for when this will occur.

Motorola Android Marshmallow update:

Motorola has become the first manufacturer to announce its plans for Marshmallow update rollout and has published on its blog a list of smartphones that are scheduled to get the OS.
NEW DELHI: Android Marshmallow is all set to debut next week on Google's Nexus smartphones, and is soon expected to roll out to other Android smatphones too. Motorola has become the first manufacturer to announce its plans for Marshmallow update rollout and has published on its blog a list of smartphones that are scheduled to get the OS.

Following are the smartphones that will be getting Android 6.0 (Marshmallow):

Moto X Pure Edition
Moto X Style
Moto X Play
Moto G (Gen 3)
Moto X (Gen 2)
Moto Turbo
Moto G (Gen 2)
DROID Turbo
Moto MAXX

While not many expected that first-generation Moto X and Moto G smartphones to get Android Marshmallow, it comes as a surprise that the company is not upgrading either of the Moto E models to the new Android version as well. This means that buyers of the second-generation Moto E, which was released just a few months ago, will be left out in the cold.

For Infinix, tecno and InnJoo no news yet.
