Lagosians storm. The 9ja Eco Charity Festival hit day 2; and trust me if you missed the vibez, then you’ve missed the essence of extreme family fun fair at the prestigious New Lekki Beach.
It was a moment was enveloped with outright entertainments ranging from Live Band Performances from some of Nigeria’s best Band. Top Veteran DJ, DJ Snoop Da Damaja was on the wheels of spin, as he left the crowd chanting for more, with a precise mix of the oldies and the new skool.
Of course is an all-star festival that’ll witness the true essence of precise entertainment, sport games, horse-racing, dance competition for the kids and a host of other entertaining funfair. Day 2 played host to performances from the Energetic singer, Ade-Piper; the breath-taking sonorous singer, Chidera Oparah; the enthralling, Boss, some of Nigeria’s finest Comedians, and a host of other performing arts that got the beach ablaze.
There were lots of gifts and goodies for fans who trooped into the highly secured beach in their numbers. Veteran OAP, Diplomatic OPJ of Wazobia FM was the Host/MC of the day. The scintillating Sophie and Vanessa took the kids on some entertaining and educating trip of questions that left them smiling and puzzling.
The was a vast number of Media Houses, TVs, Radios, Prints, and Bloggers scooping real-time contents.
The original purpose of the Festival wasn’t left in Limbo, as Founder, Eco Restoration Foundation of Nigeria, David Omaghomi taught the mass exodus of fun lovers the basic environmental stewardship practices like planting of trees, proper waste disposal, recycling and other efforts to help nature.
The week-long Festival is a green-themed Music, Dance, Comedy, Culture, Sports and family friendly event; by the beautiful beachside, featuring epic old skool “flash back” and “thanks to the fans” performances from the best of Nigeria’s entertainers across generations.
I’m sure you don’t want to miss Day 3, as everyday promises to be more exciting.
