It's the season of love and am highly inspired...thanks for all the pictures I have been taking over this period of time. As a photographer, I am surrounded by pictures, images such that when you stare so much at them, they draw you into untold realms, a realm for those who still believe in the magic of love and of dreams...More recently I have become a time traveler, one picture to the other takes me through ghost towns and undead moments held still by the photographer's shutter, just like this picture of Abuja I have here, not the Abuja we know today, it was when Zuma rock was still a spinster and Aso rock was short of a palace, I stumbled into when my Dad still had the 'Afro' and my Mum wore the old-school flared gown, her eyes dampened with love and my Dad with that home born confidence, some of those pictures comes in black and white, but then they were amazingly colorful...it sounds like magic right? how the photographer reaches our emotions with pictures, and helped me walk the immaterial past in one transcendent moment.
Just like love, it feels like magic...it's not only appealing it compels the heart.
No matter what occasion it may be, I am motivated by perspective, beauty, awe inspiring scenarios...the images I capture is but pigment of my dreams, imagination and viewpoints...after many years we can still look into these pictures as though time has never passed. Hold someone you love, go places, live, love and laugh a lot..."span your youthful days with unforgettable memories", but don't forget to call up on me ( @gottay ) capture such moments and have magic Momentos in your hands.
