Newly Sworn-in Council Secretary Assassinated in Akwa-Ibom

Mr. Ime Atakpa a newly sworn-in council secretary in Akwa Ibom state has been assassinated by unknown gunmen.

According to reports, he was shot dead on Sunday morning.

He was recently sworn-in as Secretary to the Ukanafun Local Government Council.
