PREMIUM TIMES reports that a baboon has escaped from the Wildlife Park Jos, Plateau State.

The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Monday.Sources say hunger may have forced the animal to escape as, there has been insufficient food for the animals in recent times.

The Baboon injured a security guard at the Wildlife Park during its escape. Park operatives are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
