US Rapper, Jay-Z has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

He is the first hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Jay’s longtime friend and music publisher, Warner/Chappell CEO Jon Platt accepted the induction on behalf of Jay-Z who was unable to show up.
