PHOTOS: Special Committee Urges Federal Govt To Return Abandoned To Lagos State

Alhaji Femi Okunnu on Tuesday expressed sadness over the current status of the Fed Secretariat &other abandoned Fed Govt assets in the State. Okunnu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria also urged the Fed Govt. to return the abandoned assets to the State Govt for effective & proper usage. 

Okunnu spoke at Alausa while presenting the report of a Special Committee which he chaired set up by Gov. Ambode on Fed Govt. Assets in Lagos. Gov Ambode commended members of the Committee including Femi Falana, SAN, Partner of SimmonsCooper, Mrs Victoria Alonge, among others. Ambode said that the passion of the committee members in ensuring that the LASG recovers its disputed quarters were very much appreciated.
