According to witnesses, Molly's assailant murdered her while she sat in the passenger seat of a vehicle while beeping her horn and screaming for help.
Another witness claimed to have seen a blood-stained man in a white vest whom was later arrested.
A 25-year-old man from the Medway area was later arrested on suspicion at about 11am, and is believed to have known Miss McLaren.
