The Sierra Leonean national team is mourning the death of their 3rd choice goalkeeper, Alhaji Dauda Conteh, who died from a short illness at the age of 25. He died at a Freetown hospital on Sunday.

Conteh had been selected for Sierra Leone’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations match against Kenya last month but was forced to withdraw the night before the match after taking ill.
