Details of Anambra Catholic Church Shooting Victims Published

The Catholic Diocese of Nnewi has launched a fund to cater for the victims of the attack on worshipers at St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu on Aug. 6.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the diocese said it has opened a bank account to which all funds for the care of the victims will be deposited for proper accountability.

The church also published details of the victims of the incident. It said 13 people were killed during the shooting while 20 others who were severely injured are still receiving treatment. Two out of the injured have been discharged from the hospital.
