Couple Kidnapped On Wedding Day In Ondo

Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Femi Joseph, has confirmed a report of the kidnapping of a couple along with the best man and chief brides made. The kidnapping happened as the new couple who were heading to Akure, Ondo state capital, from Okene, Kogi state, for their marriage.

The father of the bride, Mr Ahmed Amodu, also confirmed the incident but stated that the bride and her sister had been released by the kidnappers.
