Members of a political party known as the 'Socialist
Party of Nigeria, SPN held a serious protest at the Ibadan zonal office
of the public complaints commission over the alleged refusal of the
Independent national electoral commission(INEC) to issue the party a
certificate of registration.
PoliticsNGR learned that the protesters claim that the party has completed all the constitutional requirements and party registration since 2014. It was also gathered that the party has an ongoing legal battle with INEC and the hearing has allegedly been adjourned 18 times.
