Abia State Governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu now has 239 Aides including Special Assistants, Personal Assistants and Senior Special Assistants. 


The Governor announcing through his Principal Secretary, Emma Nwabuko approved the appointment of Elder John Nwangborogwu as the Executive Assistant to the Governor in charge of “Micro-managing the Governor’s welfare Commitments and goodwill Challenges.”

According to the statement, the new Executive Assistant will also “Co-ordinate and ensure integrated, harmonized services by Governor’s appointed aides through strategic and periodic interactions for assured loyalty, commitment and participation in the vision and direction of the Governor.”
“The appointment takes effect from 28th December, 2017. He will strictly report to the Governor,” the statement read.
