PHOTO: Electrician Spotted Hanging From A Burning Electric Pole In Broad Daylight

A video has shown the horrifying moment a repair man was left hanging unconscious from an electricity pylon as the high-voltage wires suddenly burst into flames.

 

In the footage, the man can be seen dangling from his safety harness in mid-air, after an electric shock had sent him flying.

The video then skips to the electrical structure blazing alight.

Captured by a witness, the clip shows the cables dangerously crossing and sagging, completely ruined from the incident.

It was also reported that the man was smothered by a ball of sparks and smoke before being rescued.

The horrifying clip was recorded in China.

The identity of the man is still unknown.

It is believed the man was trying to carry out repairs to a faulty pylon component in the city of Guiyang.

An investigation into what caused the accident has been opened, with no preliminary theories released.

Chinese media said the man was rescued before the flames could injure him further.

He is believed to be in a stable condition after being pictured in a hospital bed.
