Mourinho Writes 94-Year-Old Man U Fan

Jose Mourinho took time out to write a letter to an ill 94-year-old Manchester United supporter.
Lifelong supporter Fredrick Schofield is recovering after suffering a stroke and the Portuguese boss felt compelled to get in touch after learning of his struggles.

‘We have recently been advised about all your wonderful dedication to Manchester United,’ Mourinho said in the letter.‘I just wanted to write to you to thank you for your loyal support and devotion to the club. The enthusiasm of the fans continues to astound me.’

Mourinho signed off his letter by informing Schofield that ‘myself, the players and the staff are all thinking of you’ as his family surprised him with the personal note after reaching out to the Red Devils.
