Governor Nasir El Rufai at the venue of the interactive session on Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS). In attendance are the Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun , Chairman FIRS, Tunde Fowler, AGF, Alhaji Ahmed Idris and other senior government officials.

VAIDS is a time limited opportunity for taxpayers to regularise their tax status relating to previous tax periods. The Voluntary Asset and Income Declaration Scheme ushers in an opportunity to increase the nation’s general tax awareness and compliance.

 In his remarks, the Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service, Mr Tunde Fowler commended the State Internal Revenue Service for making tremendous progress within a short period of time.
